DealersEdge is always appreciative of all our readers. Reading the Warranty Administrator helps you keep up to date with changing Ford policies and avoid potential shortfalls in your shop's practices. But this publication is only part of your benefits as a member of the DealersEdge family. Here are some other services you should be aware of:
DealersEdge Management Forums - Located at www.dealers edge.com, these forums house some of the more professional shop discussions you will find on the Web. If there is something you do not feel comfortable posting on the FMCDealer forums, then steer over to our home page and research the answers to your concerns.
Policy and claim hotline - Help is only a phone call away at 800-321-5312. If you have a question about a particular issue with Ford policy or warranty claims just gives us a call. Even if it is just to get a second opinion or to reassure you that you have made the right call. You don't even have to call. An email to robc@dealersedge.com will work just as well.
126 Report and warranty expense reviews - A beneficial service available to all subscribers is an evaluation of your 126 Report. Actually, I prefer to work with the GWMS tabular reports and if you email me yours I would be happy to give you my evaluation. If I see a problem, I will help you select the FMCDealer reports that will help identify the cause of the problem.
Warranty Counseling Process and audit questions - If you're being audited or even going through a Step 2 or 3 regional review, you should give me a call. We can cover the current "hot-button" issues being targeted in reviews, as well as construct your shop's best defense to claim chargebacks.
The point of all of this is that I am here to support dealerships in whatever way I can with the warranty process. And all of these services are free to members of Dealers-Edge Warranty Administrator.
Note - DealersEdge has to talk to subscribers - you are the life-blood of our organization. Most of the articles you read in these pages are based on experiences from our subscribers. In other words, if you contact me, then expect me to get back to you. Use e-mail if you can. Please add the words "Ford warranty" anywhere in the subject line, I am more likely to catch it and get back to you right away. |
