Ford technician panel seeks new members Ford continues to look for volunteers to be part of the Technician Review Panel (TRP). Interested technicians need to complete the application found on the PTS website and get it to their facing Field Service Engineer(s) and/or Technical Support Operations Manager no later than October 28, 2010.
DealersEdge has spoken to a couple of technician members of the panel and they all spoke well of their experiences. Ford makes it easier on the dealership as well by paying for transportation costs, meals and lodging for panel members while in attendance at meetings. They also compensate dealerships $200/day for technician participation in Dearborn-based meetings via a credit to the parts statement.
